Kitchen Time!

Some pictures from the room where I currently are spending the majority of my time these days. I love the Marigold that I picked up outside, it goes perfect with the wall, and I miss having our little furry visitor as a cooking assistant.

The Summer Has Red Details!

Home Improvement no. 1!

We are half done with the extra room. All wallpaper has been stripped of the walls and plastering process has begun. After agreeing to take down the wallpaper in the ceiling we found that it will really be a shame to paint it white, and have decided to keep it just as it is. Walls still need to be painted.
I am very exited to see it finished at one point.

Sunday Is... no. 14!

After some rainy days, we had another wave of heat rushing over Berlin, and this morning we decided to go for a long walk along the canal up to Kreuzberg, while it was still pleasant to be outside.

The Tale Of an Apricot Tart!

Apricots are in season, so Vincent suggested to make a tart. It was really successful. Found the recipe here, though adapted it a bit to my own wishes.

Early Morning Walk!

Yesterday night I had trouble sleeping. So when day broke, I decided to go for a walk, as the sky was looking extra beautiful. Taking a morning walk like this is something I always wished to do, but never got around to it before now.

It is seldom that everywhere here lies so completely silent, so it was a real joy walking down the streets and only meeting the real early birds on their way to work. The nicest thing about it was, that I managed to catch the last glimpse of the sun and blue sky before it really started raining. Now it has been raining ever since.
