Mellie's Home!

Mellie lives in one of the nicest apartments I have visited. Felt like I took a step back through time. I love the wooden herringbone floors, the terrazzo that makes you bare feet feel instantly cold and how the curtains makes beautiful patterns on the wall in the morning when the sun it shining though the window in the room.
There are so many little details and old krims krams, and there is enough stuff, to have something new constantly catch your eye.I felt very much at home here for the short time I stayed.

So many nice little details captured my eye while I was walking around Budapest.

Beautiful Old City!

One of the things that in my opinion makes Budapest a lovely city, is the mix between really old beautiful buildings, that seem like they are ready to fall apart, the old power lead buses and trams and the 60's-70's communist architecture that I already know form Berlin. Especially one building reminded me completely of the massive east block houses along Karl Marx Allé. I let you be the judge of which one.
