Mellie's Home no. 3
At Mellie's home there is always so many interesting things, so many details to notice, and so many nice pictures to take. Maybe you remember her other homes? The one in Budapest or the one in Berlin? If you take a closer look, you might be able recognise some of the stuff. She had so many thing in various places, but now finally everything she owns is gathered in one.
Her apartment in Vienna had - like the one in Budapest - a beautiful herringbone floor. This one with curves up and down. The door between bedroom and living room was the highpoint, the middle of the living room the lowest. It had tall doors and high ceiling and was bright and hyggelig.
She still holds on to my grandparents old London couch, so there is a bit of nostalgia for me when I visit. Being at Mellie's feels almost like being at home.

Martins Home
Back in October, after going to France I spend a couple of days in London catching up with old friends and visiting a couple of my favorite places. Sadly I never have enough time to go to all the places that I want to, let alone see people that I haven't seen for ages or drink all the delicious coffee that I would like to.
I had the pleasure of staying with Martin in his beautiful apartment in Hackney. So I felt right a home in my old neighborhood, between all the books and plants, bright light and a lovely new flatmate for a couple of days.
