Paris 2

Vincent and I also had the opportunity to spend an afternoon alone in sunny Paris. We meet in the south and went through a new neighbourhood where we found a little place to have steak frites. Afterwards we went to a gallery and ended up enjoying the last of the afternoon sun at the busy Tuileries.

Valbonne

Valbonne was a quite little merchant town that with its many narrow streets and cute little detail in many ways reminded me of Trentemoult. We arrived a bit past marked time when all the shops were closing for lunch, but then we found a spot in the sun with coffee and tea and I had a Croque aux pommes.

Vence

Vence is a cute little town, that I am sure seemed much bigger to me than it really is.
Here are some snapshots of some of the charming corners.

Mountain Walk

There are only a few things as relaxing as going for a walk, especially when surrounded by beautiful french mountains and village charm.

Every morning Martin and I took a walk through the winding roads leading to Vence, always taking new roads, spotting nice details and sweating in the sun from climbing the steep hills.

A House in South Of France

While I was in the south of France, I stayed with Martin and Max at this great house in the mountains around Vence.

Such a lovely place to relax. How can you not with such a lovely view? When I woke up in the morning, the first thing I did was look out the window to take in the landscape, it is really something special compared to the normal view I have looking into the neighbor apartments.

The first day was super warm and I sat for a long time in the sun on the balcony solving cross-word puzzles. Quite the summer feeling in the end of October.

Cote d'azur

In the end of October I went to France with Max and Martin for some days, taking some time to relax and enjoy the blue sea and sky of the Cote d'azur.

It was a very special feeling driving next to the sea and I realized that this is the first time this year that I have actually been to the beach and put my feet in seawater. Such a lovely feeling.
