Florence Station
It was great to arrive and depart from Florence from its amazing and beautiful station building. It must be the most impressive station I have ever visited. It had so much of the same grandeur as the Tempelhof airport building and is from around the same period. I instantly wanted to pull the camera out from my bag and start taking pictures.

Florence Colors
Some more pictures from charming Florence.
Going through the pictures I notices that there are many yellow houses and such a great light. The city was a bit overcrowded, so it was great that we also got to experience a bank holiday, as it left the streets a bit more empty than the other days in Italy.

Florence
Next stop on our Italian summer holiday was Florance. It was much warmer than Rome and almost too much at times. A couple of hours outside and I was ready to go in for a while I get cooled down by some much-needed air-condition.
One day we went on a trip to one of the viewpoints, from which you could see most of Florance and its surroundings. We climbed the hill and ended up in a beautiful park where we could hide a bit in the shadows during the midday sun.
So much Italian charm and such a beautiful blue sky.

Some More Rome Impressions
I guess better late than never.
Rome was a nice experience and as I already mentioned it is nice to sit and look through these pictures when it is getting colder and darker outside. I still would like to see more of Rome. After 4 days I had the impression there was still so much more to be seen.
