I was so happy to find that this little pearl opened up just around the corner from me. Its name is not only Home it actually also feels like home. I just know that I am going to end up spending a lot of time there, drinking coffee and eating delicious date scones under the high white ceilings with the sun on my face.

Unfortunately, it still doesn't have a webpage, so if you feel like visiting Home, it is located on Jonasstrasse in Neukölln.  

Another amazing thing is, that after visiting Home the first time, we finally found someone who we wanted to install a proper kitchen in our home; something I am very excited about at the moment. As soon as it is done I will not hesitate to show pictures.

A Walk In The Park!

This sunday I meet up with Hannes for Coffee and Cake to catch up about work and summer plans. We got stuck at the cafe for a while since it started raining which was also nice. After the rain stopped we went for a long walk around Victoria Park, Hackney and Bethnal Green.
The rest of the day I spend with my typewriter writing notes from the past 4 months in France. There was a lot that needed to be organized, but it feels nice to be able to cross it of my list.  

A Forth Place I Really Like!

Today I went by Les Sales Gosses to get last coffee, but against all expectations they were closed. Here are a couple of pictures from previous visits.

A Third Place I really Like!

Le Select was one of the first places I went in Nantes to get a coffee, and actually I don't know why I didn't went back before now. It is such a cosy little place with so many fine details. Today I was having a glass wine there while wishing I could make time stop.
It seems these days that time is both running to fast and at the same time very slow, it could be nice if I could chose which things should pass by fast and which I could hold on to for longer.

Something About Another Place I Really Like!

Le Cercle Rouge is right next to my school, which is quite nice because it is such a nice little place to take a break, have a coffee and eat a croissant or other types of lunch. I love that it is always the same people who hang out there and that the bartender greets you in a familiar way when you order a coffee not to mention the colored espresso cups.

French Weekend With The French!

This weekend I have been out around Nantes together with Vincent. I took him to Le Reflex to get a coffee and we have been looking at all the different French food products. Sunday we went to the marked and got marguez for our dinner and something sweet for the afternoon tea and we meet a beautiful new friend who was very hard to leave behind.

Something About A Place I Like!

I have found a little place I like to go. I like to sit in the corner and read or observe the life outside and inside the cafe. The coffee there is not bad as well, and I am sure I will spend many great hours here both inside and when the weather gets warmer and the terrasse.
