All The Colors Of The Fall!

I don't think is a secret to anyone who knows me that Fall is my absolute favorite season. I know it is going towards Winter but the upside of that is that I get to wear a sweater sit inside and drinks lots of tea. The sun is shining and then it is raining, but no matter how the sky looks like it is still really beautiful to be outside, cause it contains the whole gamut of all the green, yellow and red colors the I like so much.

Paris Je T'aime!

As part of learning French I am trying to find time to watch at least one French film a week in order to get some new vocabulary and just getting use to listening to the language. I feel like I have never been so dedicated to leaning another language as I am now.
This weekend I watched "Paris Je t'aime" for the first time. It is a bit weird to watch a movie containing many small movies cause the level of engagement varies from scene to scene. There were of cause some I liked better than others but I think my favorite was Gus Van Sant's contribution from Le Marais.
I imagine soon being in a similar situation when I in less than 3 months will be living in Nantes and go to a french university. Maybe without the soul mate part but for sure me being totally oblivious to what is going on around me.

My Route To School!

After I moved a bit further to the east I started riding to school along the canal. I have to say that I didn't really like riding that close to the water, however the view is much more pretty that if I go along the main roads. I like the little boats and the serenity of the distance and right now it is extra beautiful even on days where the sky is grey. Until it gets to cold it is even possible to stop and have a coffee at Towpath while overlooking the canal and all the people riding their bikes and taking their dogs for walks. That is if I manage to get out of the house early enough.

Perfect Fall Soundtrack!

Even though this is a sad song I really like it. The music video is also very cute and I love the colors and that they are wearing curry and mustard yellow blouses. It fits perfect with the fall happening right now, both the colors bus also the slight melancholic and at the same time joy it makes me fell when I listen to it.

Doorbell system

This summer when we were in Halle I took some pictures of all the empty houses with my analogue camera, which I didn't develop until now. I thought that even though it is some time ago I would like to share them, so I hope you'll enjoy. It is exactly how I remember the city; quiet but still screaming with it's emptiness.
I don't know exactly why but I always found it fascinating with empty houses, and I always feel the urge to go in and have a look. To see it someone left something interesting behind or feel the sadness of the place.

Ready For The Cold Days!

My favorite season has officially started, so I am glad I got to finish my sweater in time for the cold days. I started this summer in Berlin but decided to unravel what I was doing and start on something different once I came back to London. This took me a couple of weeks of intense knitting but I am pretty satisfied with the result and can already feel that I will be living in this sweater all winter long.
I added a bit of autumn color in the neck so it is easier to see which is front and which is back.
