A while ago my friend Angie send me a Angel-A (2005). A movie that I think is worth sharing with you. If you haven't already seen it, you'll have a chance not to miss it.
André is a low life. He owes money all over Paris, and he has only 12 hours to come up with his depth or he will suffer a horrible death. In a miserable state he almost takes his own life, but standing at the wrong side of the bridge he encounters a woman who have had the same idea. She turns out to be an angel, and after rescuing her from drowning, she helps him get his life back into order and makes him become a better man.
It is beautiful, it is french, it is all the way through a feel good movie.

Deux Grandes Lettre Sont Arrivées!
Today I came home to a full mailbox.
It made me fell almost like was it my birthday.
I received a parcel from amazon that I knew I didn't order myself.
It was a book.
In my attempt to learn how to speak french I wished for George Perec's "Tentative d'épuisement d'un lieu parisien" which I already know in English.
Since it has a lot of one line sentences it should be manageable for me to relate the two, and maybe learn some new words and ways to say things.
I guess a close French speaking person is as eager for me to speak as I am to learn.
So I received it with love.
Airmail also came all the way from the land of Oz. Angie wrote me a sweet letter and send me the Movie "Paris je t'aime".
A whole lot of French for one day!

Entdecken Alt Und Neu!
Although London was gray and Berlin this morning is sunny, I almost
asked the pilot to turn around last night when he announced the it was
minus 14 degrees in Berlin. I could use a couple of more day with 10
degrees, wearing an open jacket and gloves instead of mittens. Although I
have been in London a few times before, the last being 8 years ago, it
was like experiencing a new city.
I lived quite near Portobello road and Hide Park
In this very cute little hotel
With a nice view from my room, and a squirrel looking in at me the last morning there.
Sunday afternoon I went to Tate modern
And saw some nice art.
These are some of my favorites
I walked so much
But also took the Tube of course.
On Monday I had to go to the school, and most of the day I spent
waiting. So I decided to eat my lunch in a very tiny park nearby.
And after I was done there, I took the bus all the way through London. From the front row in the bus. Being in London before I have to admit this was the first bus drive for me. Here I am looking down on all the busy people at Oxford circus.
Monday I meet with Angie for a tee. In a very nice tee house in Camden Town.
And later I went for a walk in Saint James park, going towards the bus station. Here it was getting spring.
And I saw branches in my favorite color.

One night with Teitur!
Last Night me and Angie went to see Teitur. I was very exited cause it was the first time I saw him live.
There was a really cute warm up band called BOY, that consisted of two German girl, who had a little trouble playing louder Acoustic Guitar than the Metal band playing upstairs. But it was good anyway.
I bought their EP, cause it was really nice music.
Teitur completely lived up to my expectations. It was a very nice concert, that even though it had a lot op long pauses, where the band had to tune their instruments and so, he managed to keep the audience attention although out the show, telling silly stories and making people laugh.
He tried to speak some German but found it to hard, and began speaking Danish but quickly turned into English again.
My favorite part was when he was totally alone on stage and sang, "The Singer" without any instruments. However I also really liked that he promised to e-mail a video he made at Deutsche Rundfunk " to everyone in the audience who gave him their mail address.
