Heiße Zitrone und Mohnkuchen!

Yesterday night I went to an exhibition opening with Elisabeth. First we went to have tee at one of our old hangouts near Schlesisches Tor.

Elisabeth mainly wanted to go for the performance, which was a guy dressed up in a latex suit and pink make-up who talked about the complexity of reproduction in our modern society where there is no longer a normal family structure or any "rules". I found it quite interesting and fun, although I am not quite sure why he had to dress up like that to tell this point.

My favorite part of the exhibition was these collages. They really caught my interest from a far, and was just as good when I came up close.

On A Cold Monday Night!

Last week Jason called me and asked if I wanted to play a concert with him, at this show that was gonna be live streamed at the Internet.
I said yes, and it might be one of the most unprepared things I have ever done. However, it turned out great. And I got to play me new harmonica.

After we were done, I stayed and listened to some of the other concerts. Right after us, there was a guy and a girl singing which I really liked.

Trip, trap, Træsko!

I have talked about leaning to play the Harmonica for a while. And before I went to Denmark I got this little key chain with only 4 chords. Then as I was looking through my old treasures I found my old Harmonica from when I was a child, and today Vincent gave me this really big one. So now I have 3 different to practice on. So this afternoon I took my first YouTube harmonica lesson, and I am exited. Maybe I will be able to use it for our performance this Thursday.

Zum Geburtstag

Tuesday My Father came to Visit. It was his birthday, so I made brunch with home backed bread and "brunsviger". After all the eating, we went for a long walk in Treptower park and around the old amusement park to enjoy the beautiful spring weather, and had a snack at a little "Kuchenhaus" along the Spree.
At night we went to see God Squad performing their version of Andy Warhol's Kitchen, and luckily my father enjoyed it as much as me.

Help me make it through the night!

Some while ago Liv told me about Gob Squad. A british/ German performance group, who were gonna make different performances around Berlin, and she recommended that I should go and see one. So last night her and I went to see them in their performance "Room Service" about 4 people who are alone in a hotel room and has too do all sorts of things to keep awake.
It took place in a conference room in a Hotel, where there were 4 televisions showing what happened in the different rooms. It was a 5 hour long performance and a mix between manuscript and improvisation that also includes the audience, and you can come and go as you like within the 5 hours.


One of the things I really liked was when one of them started to use the bin and toilet as pets that he had to feed, or when they made simultaneously music videos to famous songs.


Because I was really tired I thought that I might stay there a couple of hours, but it was so great that we ended up being the for almost 4. And if my eyes hat not been down to my knees, I would have stayed to the end.
