London baby!

I didn't really plan on traveling more this winter, but Monday night I got some good news. I have to go to London on Sunday to present my portfolio on Monday. And I am super exited, but also a bit stressed. It is 8 years since I was last there, so I am sure the city changed a lot, and luckily I will also have time to rediscover.

Today I saw the first sign of spring!

Yesterday when we were at the Berlinische Galleri I fell in love with these Polaroid pictures by photographer Arno Fischer, and had to buy this book which contained the whole amazing collection.

Traveling Through!

Yesterday I went out with Helle who was in town for a few days. I have to say I think it has been the most cultural day I have had since I came to Berlin.
We started the day drinking a good coffee.

The first we went to KW who had an exhibition of an Israeli artist, only containing white elements. After that we went to Hamburger Bahnhof, where we saw a really weird installation called SOMA about agriculture, frozen mushrooms and deers. But we also saw some really nice pieces from the permanent collection.
After we went to Berlinische Galerie where there were mostly photography, and at last we went to a pop-up store by the French/German artistcommunity Bless. Who had a shop in an apartment where someone was living.
So at the end of the night when we sat down for dinner, we had so many impressions to digest.

So finally we were able to create something digital out of one of our shows. I don't know if it will make much sense to listen to it without the movie, which was "Nanook of the north", however it works as nice background music, as I am writing this.

Blackout!

Monday when I turned on my bedside lamp the bulb leaped. I thought it was just the bulb, but turned out it was actually the whole lamp that was broke. So i needed to figure out what to do.
I really didn't want to get rid of the lamp cause my aunt made it from clay a long time ago, so I wrapped fairy lights around it instead. And it makes a really intimate atmosphere so I think I will keep it for a while.

Mustard Yellow!

In Israel I bought this wonderful jersey fabric in my favorite yellow color, and now I have finally made this cute dress with leather inserts at the shoulder. I can't wait for spring to come so I can wear it all the time.
