A Walk In The Countryside

During the short time I spend on the English countryside, Blair was so kind to show us some of the many wild flowers meadows there is in the area around their house. We saw a meadow of only wild garlic, I don't remember that it smelled. There were also wild orchids in early bloom and we were followed by approximately 200 - what seemed to be angry - cows. All great and memorable experiences.

Gardening

Someday I like to have a garden like this. A section with only edibles, so I can make meals with things fresh from the garden and a part with flowerbeds and meadows and a huge lawn. It feels very relaxing to put ones hands in soil, plant something and enjoy it grow.

A House In The Countryside

I was invited to spend a beautiful weekend in the British country side with some former colleagues, in this amazing English dream house.

The atmosphere was so relaxed and nice, I felt like I had been coming in this house many times before and could continue visiting for many years to come. The pace was just completely different and I almost didn't look at my watch for the entire weekend. Everything was so green and it was amazing to really feel the season. I can understand why, people in London like to escape the city on the weekend and come to this, to tear of all the stress of the city and give fresh start.

The first weekend of May was gallery weekend, and we went around town on some of the many many galleries with a ton of other people who got the same idea.
