Green Balcony
While I was in Denmark, this happened at the balcony. Our wild flower meadow grew from zero to a very green and bushy flower bed. The fig also had another growing spurt and now have 4 green figs. The first fig - that came early - we ate back in June. It was sweet and juicy, so I look forward to the next batch is ripe. While I am waiting, I am still enjoying strawberry season, that is sadly soon coming to an end.

Tivoli
For people who know me or followed this blog for a couple of years, I think it's safe to say you must know by now that I love Tivoli. I have posted many pictures from this place. Of course this year should be no different. Because a proper summer in Denmark has to have a scheduled in visit to Tivoli. I can never get over how nice a place that is, even if I don't go for the rides, but just like to wander around and enjoy all the beautiful flowers and the many colourful buildings while eating an ice-cream.

Rhododendron
One of the many great things about Denmark in June is the beautiful rhododendron bushes that are blooming everywhere. I am sure you have noticed them on my previous post, because in Hillerød there seems to be a lot. Maybe it seems so because they have these massive bushed where my parents live and I was there right in the primetime. I enjoyed them every single day when going out for my walk and coming back.

Birthday Walk
Exactly a month ago I celebrated my 34 years on this earth.
But a birthday is not equivalent to sit down and relax. Especially when you have a four month old baby. So of course I had to go on my daily walk, but lucky for me the weather behaved - as did I for the last year. I had a nice promenade through the garden at the castle in Hillerød, enjoying all the colourful flowers and the sun.
It has been many years since I last celebrated my birthday in Denmark. It falls on the Danish national day, so I can always pretend that everyone puts up the flag on my behalf.
