Øresund

Some pictures form the beautiful and sometimes crazy Baltic sea, the coast, the beach and the cliffs next to it. It was somehow so nice to be surrounded by water all the time, such a difference from the city.

Sunday Is... no. 15

My dad arranged for us to go on a train ride at the local railway-club. Something we have been wanting to do for some time, but haven't had the chance since they only drive one Sunday a month. But this time luckily it was just while we were home and we had a really nice ride through the landscape around Blovstrød. 

The Olympic Village

Not that long ago we took a Sunday trip to the old Olympic Village from 1936. It is about half an hour train ride from our home and then an additional walk from Elstal station. It was quite a warm day and in the village even more; it felt a bit like the wind stood completely still there. After being at such a quiet place, it is always really strange to return to the city.

Blue, Blue, Blue Sky!

Brooklyn Bridge Garden is newly build on some of the old docks near brooklyn bridge. Really lovely place with the view of Manhattan but peaceful on an early spring day. Just what was needed after running around in the city non-stop for a week.
We crossed it by coincidence but what a nice one.
