Indian Summer!

So we had our fair share of Indian summer here in Berlin, it is definately moving towards fall, but the days have been warm and luckily there has been many occations to spend some outside. I can't wait for all the beautiful fall colors to really kick in.

I had a couple of visitors coming from London. First Marie was in town and I met up with her a few times for coffee and gossip. Since Ed stayed with us for a week while working on an exhibition here. Currently the only visitor we have is the cat, and he will, like summer, be gone soon enough.

Two beautiful things we found on the flea market in Wedding.

Details From Wedding!

Last Saturday we took the U-bahn to Leopoldplatz to see, if we could find anything for house at the flee-market there. It was a lovely sunny day and I had worn way to much clothes. After going through the piles of junk we decided to make a little detour to get to the U-bahn. It is somehow always nice to be in an unexplored part of town. There are so many new things to see compared to the walk usually taken in my own area.

Homeimprovement no. 2!

So while I have been busy blogging about Italy, we managed to finish working on the extra room. Now we have a big empty room that needs to be filled. It somehow should be easy but needs to be carefully thought through.

August Instagram Recap!

There were lost of pictures on Instagram this month. Between the trip to Sicily and Denmark there were many great things to take pictures of. I do realize we are half into September now, and we have been back in Berlin for quite a while. More about what has happened here in the following days.

Harbor Life!

Syracuse has a really nice harbor with little old houses, fisherman-boats, cafes and a real leben. It is nice to take a walk there while eating a gelato or have a glass of cold white wine at the harbor front.

My posts about Sicily will end here. Back to reality. I hope you'd enjoyed following this little adventure.

An Italian Lunch!

The Italian antipasti are so yummy, and the spiciness fits perfectly with a glass of white wine or ice-cold water in the very warm midday sun. After walking to the beach we sat down at a lovely little cafe in the middle of nowhere and had a great dish of antipasti with bread.
