October Instagram Recap!
October was a busy month: first a road-trip to Denmark, then a visit in London and at the end we had to set our clocks to wintertime and we celebrated our move-in by backing danish pastry and inviting people over for tea.

So Far So Good!
A few weeks ago, we made the long drive back to Denmark in a rather large van to pick up all my furnitures and boxes so that they could finally be joined with Vincents and united in our home here in Berlin. It feels good to have everything at the same place and although some things are still unfinished (like finding out how to store all our books), the additional room that was empty when I moved in finally looks like home.
Now I will be able to enjoy the increasingly cold fall, from my comfy chair reading a good book with a cup of coffee.

A Trip To The Heath!

We spend a shot time in Vedicari National Reservoir, but this time of year was way to warm to make an excursion through the heath, even when it seemed there was great nature to encounter. There were so many great colors: the sky, the grass, the water. We walked down to the beach, which was the main attraction for many visitors, and then before melting we hurried back into the shadow.

Ragusa!
Visiting Ragusa during the siesta was really nice, since the city and its long straight streets lay almost desolate. It was quite the contrast to Taormina, where it was hard not to get a person in my frame. Here it was hard finding a person to take a picture of.
It would have been nice to feel the buzz of a city that in many ways seemed larger than the other ones we visited. But at the same time it was nice strolling up and down the streets in complete quietness.

Modica!
Modica was a small and very charming city in the mountains, where the old part of town didn't only consist of narrow streets but also many stairs that had to be climbed to reach the high view point in the Town. It had a slight South American feel to it. I probably never before experienced a city so similar in color.
If I felt lost in the streets of Syracuse I probably had even less sense of direction here. Luckily it helps having three other people two follow plus meeting friendly locals who can point in the right direction.
