Allerød

Allerød is where I grew up.

Now that I have to walk a daily trip, I had the chance to visit some places, that I have not been in years. On one walk we passed my old school, took some of the routes that I used to take frequently and saw places that have changed and others that have remained the same.

I was so lucky with the weather. Many told me, that there has not been good days like this since my last visit in June. I think out of the two weeks I was there, we only had one bad day. Otherwise it was mostly warm and sunny. The day before I left, the fall really took over.

Fall Trip to Denmark

Right now I am in Denmark enjoying an almost Indian summer. Fall has started to slowly show but since I came most days have been warm and partly sunny. I know it doesn't look like that on these particular pictures - that I took on our walk down to Hillerød - but as far as I remember, the sun came later that same day.

A Little Baby Corner

Our little baby is claiming a not so little part of our apartment.

Italian and Champagne

Last week, Ming was in Berlin visiting while in Europe. He came directly from Sardinia and brought with him lots of inspiration from the Italian kitchen. He made homemade pasta, while I took care of some salad and fried zucchini flowers. Everything was very delicious and I will definitely be making stuffed and fried Zucchini flowers in the future - though they are very hard to come by in this town.

Ming's visit was the perfect opportunity to drink the last bottle we brought back from Champagne last year, since I know that he is also found of the bubbles.

Sunday Morning

For the last couple of Sundays we had to take the pram out for a walk quite early. Luckily the weather has been nice and warm, but no one in Neukölln is out enjoying it at this time of day. The only other people we met were other parents out with their kids or people walking their dogs. The rest of Neukölln was sleeping sound.
