Dannebrog Vs. Union Jack!

I held a pre-birthday party where I tried to outbattle the Brits in amount of flags. Originally th eplan was a picknic, but by the bad weather I was forced to take the picnic inside, and it turned out to be a great day anyway.
There was 4 different type of cake plus an extra special one, pizza drinks and great company from my London friends.

Into The Looking Glass!

People on my school have just finalized their degree projects and it left me wondering if the many small looking glasses attached to the walls in the staircase is a part of that or simply an architectural element.
I don't know cause I never took that staircase until now.
What ever it is I think it was a brilliant idea.

A Tymmy Full Of Yummy Food!

This weekend has been all about food. Yesterday afternoon I prepared my lunch for most of the week. Pumpkin Risotto and tomato soup.

Then in the evening I spend the time at Michael and Mans, cooking some food with a Danish twist  for them at their amazing kitchen. I got a bit of help from Man and the cute house cat, she was mostly supervising. The menu was Pork roast, and risalamande.

Today Lilly had invited me to come and make the next batch of Macarons with her. Lemontaste. It took quite some time and they were maybe not as perfect as at Laduree's, but they did look lovely and had a yummy taste, and we had some fun hours experimenting with lemoncurd and clean egg of from the entire kitchen.

After The Rain!

Lovely Lilly made Pistachio Macarons this weekend, and today she offered me some. So after getting drenched on my way home cycling through the rain, it was nice to enjoy a cup of afternoon coffee with a touch of France.
