1st of May!

1st of May started with a party.
 Then a Pizza
And after some sleep a nice breakfast
Then there was another party. A birthday and everyone was bringing chips.
We made flying airplanes in Tempelhof Airport
and ate Tarte aux pommes.
All in all. No 1st of May fighting for me, I stayed away from Kotti in more relaxed surroundings. Instead the day was full of lovely people, drinks and food.

Birthday Dinner!

Yesterday Harriet turned 1 year older. So she held a little dinner in the cafe where she is working.
She received so many flower that I am sure her home is going to look like a flower shop.  But then again. I think that one of the nicest things you can have is beautiful flowers for you birthday.

Another Jubilee!

Yesterday was a special day.
My moms husband had a jubilee. 50 years working for the same company.
We had some friends and family for brunch. Then we went to Copenhagen for a walk, trying to burn of some of all the food we ate, and then we ended the evening by eating at a really nice Italian restaurant.
I am amazed that he has worked that long for one company. I don't think that will happen to me, but it is quite nice to see him still being happy about going to work.

Dannebrog Vs. Union Jack!

I held a pre-birthday party where I tried to outbattle the Brits in amount of flags. Originally th eplan was a picknic, but by the bad weather I was forced to take the picnic inside, and it turned out to be a great day anyway.
There was 4 different type of cake plus an extra special one, pizza drinks and great company from my London friends.

Jubilæum!

Yesterday we celebrated my father, as he has been working for the same company for 40 years. He had a reception in the afternoon, with a buffet including "Brunsviger", "Rygeost" and "Solæg", all specialties from the part of Denmark where he grew up. He got so much beer and presents from all his friends and colleagues. In the evening we went to a Brewhouse in Copenhagen where we had a very nice dinner. I can't imagine working that long for a company, so I guess I won't have 40 year anniversary.

Post Weawing Party!

For the last week, Claudia and I have been working hard to get the weaving stuff done in time for last nights party at her studio. The party was a presentation the dancing video we shot a couple of months ago, but also a little presentation of the weaved stuff that we did.
The video was projected on the window, and could be seen from inside and outside which was really beautiful together with the old building.

Busy Bee!

Luckily the weather yesterday was amazing, cause Hadas had a going away open air party, before she is leaving for the far east. It had Party decorations, wild animals and a cool dj in a suit but barefooted, placed comfortable in the shadow.

I could sadly not stay there for long, as I was engaged somewhere else. Elisabeth, Teal and I had made dinner plans. We were going out on Girls night, but also as a little bachelorette party, since soon, Teal will no longer be a Miss. We went to Schlesisch Blau and later we went dancing in the red.

Come On Everybody, Move You Feet!

Last night I went to a 1st of May party at Teals house. It was outside in the back court and even though it was cold in the beginning, we quickly got warm from all the people and dancing.

Teal in her pink wig! So today I spend most of the day enjoying the sun from my blanket in the park. Until I meet up with Claus and Emilie who were in town, and had coffee and later Dinner together.
