Today Nina and I handed over our keys to the apartment.
Past couple of days we have been painting, cleaning and throwing stuff out and we made it in time.
Three is something quite sad about an empty apartment. Regardless if you are moving in or out it just looks so impersonal.

Something About Decay!
Sometimes I almost like dead flowers better than fresh ones. If the decay is beautiful it becomes almost sculpture like. Now I have to say goodbye to many of the dead beauties I've been accumulating because they ironicly wont survive a summer packed down in a box.
I take comfort in the fact that when I return to London it will be fall, and I can collect new ones.
The clementine was an experiment, to see how small and dry it would get. Tomorrow it will suffer the destiny of the trashcan.

Ready For Summer!
I should have learned that if you don't want to buy anything, you should not go into a shop.
But COS is having a sale right now, so I was temted.
Ended up buying this top, which wasn't on sale, but I told myself that I need it.
I passed the window at a juwelry store near my place and 3 golden paper planes caught my eye. Last time I bought a piece of jewelry was before I left Berlin so I tell myself it is alright.
I cross my fingers it wont be caught under the saddle of my bike when I lean over to lock it. A destiny many of my other necklaces have suffered.

Ready To Face Summer!
Today it is warm and this morning I let my hair fall to the ground in anticipation of the summer that I am still waiting for.
I am very happy with the way it turned out.

Coffee and Books!
I am currently reading "A Lovers Discourse" by Roland Barthes, and even though it is worth the trouble I find myself asking why it has to be so hard to read philosophy.
So some of the weekend I spend sitting at a cafe reading.
I also had time to meet up with friend and go for walks.
Ever since I discovered this little pony collection, I could not wait to I had my camera so I could take a picture. Very cute. |

Something About Summer!
It is weird to think about that in 10 days I will be leaving London for the summer. Now that I have gotten use to be here.
I do look forward to going back to Denmark for a short while see my friends and family and spend the rest of the summer in Berlin, but right now London is showing itself from its best side, and I think I am going to miss it.
Some of the flowers from my birthday are still alive and there are roses everywhere. Here are some pictures from my evening walk the other day.
Best thing about summer is definitely the warm summer nights.

An Experiment!
Some time ago I had a workshop about photography where our tutor said
that it is possible to get the same look with a digital picture in
photoshop as it is with analog photography. I must say I am quite
sceptic but I though I give it a try.
I had these two very similar pictures from Brighton on from a film and one from my digital camera.
I'll let you be the judge if I did good or not.
I would like to know which one do you think is which?

Radiohead and Rainful Days!
It's funny how you can rediscover music you already knew.
Somehow Radiohead seems to fit my state of mind these days, and it makes me put them on play every time I get the chance.
Here are some pictures I took in Brighton, cause the song is somehow fitting with a rainy day.

Eating At The Diner!
Today it was time to visit Fatboy's Diner. It was everything I dreamed of.
I felt like we traveled into an American movie and just had to have a chocolate shake.
After we ate we went for a walk along the Thames and ended up going to an exhibition. And then I ended up having a huge argument with myself of weather or not to buy the lovely blue vintage tee pot.
My less rational side won!
