Brunch in Friedrichshain

After multiple failed attempt to meet up - first one kid sick then the other - Tina and I finally managed to meet for brunch with the small ones an early Saturday morning. We went to Happy Baristas in Friedrikshain where we had a great french toast and coffee and babychinoes for the kids. Afterwards we went to a playground nearby and enjoyed the sun and sand before it got to warm outside.

Spend this evening with Vincent watching the sunset at Tempelhof airport. Where we could see all the high points of Berlin.

Bald Sommer!

Today I spent all day like this, somewhere east of Berlin in the woods.

The sun makes me want to loose my shoes and jacket.

All day long I have been outside.
First I lay in the park with my morning coffee. Later I went to Teals to sit in the sun, on the rooftop of her courtyard together with her and Elisabeth. I brought my knitting stuff as I am making a new pullover, that I can almost not wait to finish. When the sun was gone from the yard we went to get ice cream.
After I went to Club de Visionaire to meet up with Stine and her friend Martin. And we sat and had a drink while enjoying the sunny day and the music.

I been listening to this new song from the Fleet Foxes. Every time I listen to their music I feel like I am back at Roskilde Festival 2009. Their music reminds me of summer and I always get in a good mood when I listen to them.
I think I will go and get a ticket for their concert here in Berlin, tomorrow on my way home from work.

Great Expectations!

It seams like everything in my life right now is about waiting. So I decided I might as well pass the time with something useful. Therefore I used yesterday, turning this beautiful old tablecloth that I found in a 2. hand stop, into a brand new summer dress. I really love it. The only problem is, that I want to wear it so bad, that now I also can't wait for summer to come.

Right now I am so into the Bowerbirds, especially this one song, which reminds me of Latesummer nights, bonfires at the beach and stars at a dark sky.

All the fall colours matches my klapprad but not my bare legs

Yes it is true. Today I wore short. We are in the end of september and I biked around in my summershorts and shirt. Everyone was looking really summerlike, and I could not imagine any better way to spend the day than outside. Therefore I asked Liv if she wanted to go together to the Turkish marked, where we ended spending the afternoon, shopping for dinner, listening to music and just talking while sitting in the sun and enjoying the last sun of "summer".

Indian summer has arrived! Today me and Teal went to a park to have a brunch picnic. And I ended up having to take of my leggings because it was too hot. What a joy!
I hope this will last for some days, I was thinking fall was coming to quickly.

Sommershopping!

I dag var jeg en tur i COS for at udvide min garderobe, og købte denne fantastiske buksedragt. Binebåndet i taljen udskiftede jeg med et rødt som jeg fandt på det Tyrkiske marked. Jeg kan næsten ikke vente med at tage den i brug. Og selvom en buksedragt og et "porterloo" ikke passer så godt sammen, så tror jeg alligevel den skal med i kufferten til Roskilde.
