One Step Closer!

So today I got the result from the English test, and I passed. So now there is nothing standing between me and London. I still have a lot to plan and organize but this is one less thing. I will spend this beautiful sunny weekend with friends, without worries, and start thinking practical again on Monday.

From The Treasure Box

One of the things I also had time to do for Easter, was looking through old pictures of my grandparents and their family and friends. I found many really good ones, that I have added to my collection of old pictures, but I think this was my favorite.
I don't really know who this is, but on the back someone wrote " I have curls, just like my father"

Trip, trap, Træsko!

I have talked about leaning to play the Harmonica for a while. And before I went to Denmark I got this little key chain with only 4 chords. Then as I was looking through my old treasures I found my old Harmonica from when I was a child, and today Vincent gave me this really big one. So now I have 3 different to practice on. So this afternoon I took my first YouTube harmonica lesson, and I am exited. Maybe I will be able to use it for our performance this Thursday.

A Lovely Easter!

Besides cleaning out my old things doing Easter, I had some time to relax and enjoy time with family and some friends.

When I arrived at Copenhagen I spend the night at Ulla's, and the next morning she invited me to have brunch where she works.

I meet up with other friends

 Had nice Easter dinner with my family

Celebrated an early Mothers day

drew on eggs Easter morning

and went for a walk in the beautiful spring weather.

Trip Down Memorylane!

I spend some of the easter time by cleaning out some things from my parents basement. It is always such a thrill to do stuff like that, and always end up taking more hours than planed, because it is so fun to go though all the things you forgot you had.

Especially old photos and diaries, day planners and other stuff that tell you about the way you once were.

Just Cause I Am Not A Child, Doesn't Mean That I Can't Play With Dolls!

As an inspiration to our weaving Claudia brought a book to work, about children dolls in the balkan area. I really liked that almost all of the dolls looked like they were made by the kids who owned them, and that they had a certain simplicity despite of the multicolored pattern on their outfits. The pictures really inspired me, and made me wanted to try and make my own dolls. I don't really know what to use them for, but it is somehow nice just to do something for the pleasure of it rather than thinking to much about the aim. I now made the first one, and I don't know how many there will be, but it will definitely not be my last one.

I Have Sinned!

As I had to wait 3 hours between the written and spoken part of the English test I passed the time at the area around Alexanderplatz. I went to H&M to by stockings and came out with more than it was intentioned. I did decide not to buy anymore things while I am in Berlin, so walking into H&M when seasons are changing might not be the smartest thing to do.
I thinks my Polka dot obsession might be getting a little out of hand, but I could not resist buying this gorgeous t-shirt.

My excuse is that it is not only polka dots but half polka dots as well.

I wanted a pair of shorts like this for a long time, and the color matches perfect with the dots on the t-shirt.

They even have cute ruffles, like an old pair of ladies underwear.

The best part is about this outfit is that it will go so well together with the sandals I got last year.
