One of the things I both love and hate about Berlin is that people just leave all their old useless stuff on the streets. After Christmas it is Christmas trees lying around until there's no more green left, and in January everybody is changing their TV for a newer version so the streets are flooded with old useless TVs.
But last Sunday I found something really useful as I was running. I took it home and painted it, and now it is in my room, and it looks really nice.

All the fall colours matches my klapprad but not my bare legs
Yes it is true. Today I wore short. We are in the end of september and I biked around in my summershorts and shirt. Everyone was looking really summerlike, and I could not imagine any better way to spend the day than outside. Therefore I asked Liv if she wanted to go together to the Turkish marked, where we ended spending the afternoon, shopping for dinner, listening to music and just talking while sitting in the sun and enjoying the last sun of "summer".

Working sunday!
Sometimes it can be really hard to pull yourself together to do something that you actually like doing. It is just because the sun is shining or you have a million things that you would like to do just as much which maybe doesn't take as much effort. But yesterday my desk was calling me, and I managed to start up a project that I been thinking about for a while now.
What I've done so far is just inspiration but a step further.

Renovierungsbedürftig!!
Last night I went with Liv and her roommate to this Theater in Prenzlauer Berg who are closing because they could not extend their lease, as the owners want to renovate the building. Therefor they had a 60 hour long performance going on this weekend, and even made a sleeping area if you wanted to stay there the entire time.
First we saw a performance that told the history of the house. How it use to belong to a Jewish family who sold tobacco and thereafter became a sewing factory, up til the fall of the DDR.
My favorite part was when a bunch of old seamstresses told about their daily work at the factory.
After the first performance there were some poetry slam that we decided to stick around for, and although my German skills needs to be a little improved for listening the really fast rap, it was really great and funny.

Sonne, bitte bleib noch ein paar tage!
Indian summer has arrived! Today me and Teal went to a park to have a brunch picnic. And I ended up having to take of my leggings because it was too hot. What a joy!
I hope this will last for some days, I was thinking fall was coming to quickly.

Sontag wieter am Flohmarkt
Today I went to Wedding with Mellie and Franzisca for a flohmarkt. I really wanted to se if I could find some practical stuff for my new room, but as always you never find what you are in need of.
I did find a couple of stuff though. And all for the price of 5,5 euros. Great bargain.
