Going Analog!

I brought Lars' old analog camera back with me. I want to bring it when I go to Israel, and hopefully take some nice pictures.

Wieder In Berlin!

I had a great Christmas in Denmark, meet up with friends and family and had a lot of food. My aunt didn't make it through the snow so we had to celebrate Christmas without her, instead Gitte joined us, which was very nice.
Now I am back in Berlin after 10 beautiful days in Denmark.

Walking in a winter wonderland!

Lately I have been complaining a lot about the snow, but I have to admit that after finally arriving to Denmark saturday afternoon I started to enjoy it. Maybe it's because I am out of the city where the snow is only gray and annoying or maybe it is just because I have no schedule to follow. But instead of complaining I stop up every 5 minutes and think that it is so beautiful that I really need to enjoy it as long as it lasts.

Frederiksborg castle
The view from my parents living room
Bird feet in the snow
Ice crystals on the window

Last Night My father and I did one of or Christmas traditions. Which is to go and see the Crazy Christmas Cabaret. This year we brought Mellie, who had never been in Tivoli doing Christmas, so doing the break we ran around trying to see it all.

Wiederhören!

Right now I am so into the Bowerbirds, especially this one song, which reminds me of Latesummer nights, bonfires at the beach and stars at a dark sky.

I found this rather cute video of it!

Bis bald Dänemark!

Warten, warten, warten.
So I am on my way home for the holidays, but are right now stuck at Tegel waiting for the plain, which is delayed by over 3 hours.
Well, how better to use the time than to blog.
I am going home for the first time in 6 months, and I am for once looking forward too seeing Denmark. I think it will be so much fun seeing all of my friends and family. Making Christmas candy and doing all the Christmas traditions.
Now I just have to wait for the plain to take of.

Winter faces!

Just as I thought the Show would soon be gone, it started snowing again. I have to say that I am already pretty tired of the Winter. However this gives me a good excuse to stay inside and work on my stroke and portfolio. The last couple of days I just been drawing sad winter faces.

Love you, love you not...

I am already tired of the snow and that I have to talk the U-bahn to work. Stains on my clothes and salt ruining my shoes.
But when I am in my Kitchen looking out, I feel like I am seeing the snow how it is suppose to be. White and untouched. And then I can't help but enjoy it.

Wir trotzen den Schnee!

So after an afternoon of flying back and forward to Berlin 2 times, do to the huge amount of snow falling over Berlin, my Parents arrived late Thursday night.
The snow was everywhere, and the coldness made it a little difficult to stay outside for too long.

Luckily my Parents were here many times and know all the basic thing that you have to see, and therefore we went to see the Berliner dom, where they were rehearsing for a concert. It was really beautiful, so we sat down and listened for a while until we got the heat back!

We went to Christmas markets, where they had so many sweet things. Like Erdbeerebowle and Lebkuchen Hertzen!

Then we ate traditional Currywurst mit pommes
and went to other Christmas Markets

And of cause we had time to have some delicious food, shop and just enjoy the weekend!

Walking through the snow!

So my parents came to town, despite some beginning trouble with snow and planes.
My newly bought shoes broke and yesterday my parents were sweet enough to give me a new pair that should be able to keep my feet nice and warm. I wore them all day today and I already feel like they are gonna be a pair that I will wear all winter long!
