April Instagram Recap!
One of the first things I did when getting my Iphone long time ago, was to download Instagram. I have often debated with myself whether or not to use it, but always found that it never really suited my temperament.
Though doing the past month this has changes a 180 degrees and I have finally surrendered to Instagram. It is in deed a great way of sharing with and seeing images from people all over the world. Normally I don't really like when bloggers divide their activities to too many platforms, I somehow thought that the main idea for a blog is to gather all the things in one place. Therefore I have also decided that each month I'll make a little recap of my activities the past month on Instagram so that no one needs to follow yet another thing.
As for my month of April, it started of in New York and since I came back my time has mostly evolved around my work and getting ready for my degree show. I spend a lot of time at school and in the bindery, and though it is hard I am loving every moment of it.

A Beautiful Spring!
While I have been busy blogging about New York, spring has really taken over in London. Every tree is filled with light-green almost transparent leaves and most of the days have been sunny.
Besides autumn this is my favorite time a year. I guess I am a bit of a sucker for changing seasons, where I can really feel a difference every single day.

All Good Things Must Come To An End!
Sadly our stay in New York could not last forever either.
We left at night and flew over Manhattan with it's many lights. Like that it was really easy to see how far the city stretches. Quite impressive and a great way to say farewell.

Last Day Walk!
Tbe last day we spend taking yet another walk in Brooklyn, but to a new and unexplored area not to far from were we were living. Here it seemed much more like a little village than anywhere else in the city.
The day was so nice, sunny and warm. The kind of day you wish would last forever.

Blue, Blue, Blue Sky!
Brooklyn Bridge Garden is newly build on some of the old docks near brooklyn bridge. Really lovely place with the view of Manhattan but peaceful on an early spring day. Just what was needed after running around in the city non-stop for a week.
We crossed it by coincidence but what a nice one.

Holiday Food!
Of cause having holidays and going somewhere new also requires eating a lot of delicious food, healthy and unhealthy. Our time in New York was a mixture of eating out and cooking at home, last one allowed us to visit a lot of their fantastic whole food markets, where it is easy to get overwhelmed by the amount of unknown delicious treats.
The most memorable experience was when visiting a diner upstate where we got burgers and milkshakes and was greeted by a nice waitress calling me sweetheart. The all American experience. I am still sometimes dreaming of the chocolate peanut butter milky taste.
