Sicily!

Maybe you have noticed that it has been a while since I last posted something. I was away on Holidays and have first now gained an overview of the many photos I took on the trip.

We went to Sicily for 10 days, and stayed in Syracuse on the east side of the island. An old and run down city but very charming with a mix of architecture. In many ways it reminded me of Nice that I visited last year.

We arrived on the 13th and on the 15th of August there was a national holiday, which left the street almost empty; more quiet than during the Siesta. Otherwise the city seemed to be buzzing with life, especially at night where it felt like all the people living in the nearby area took their cars and came into town.
