On Saturday we went to The National Portrait Gallery to see the Taylor Wissing Photographic Portrait Prize. I liked most of the pictures, but this is my Favorite.
Mark Johnson in a series called "The ugly face of Prejudice", which are all pictures of people who have been scared and no longer fall under the category of what society considers to be beautiful.
For a long time I have been fascinated with this kind of beauty. I believe it is possible to find beauty in every face that you encounter, and I really admire the people who have come to terms with their own appearance and are not afraid to show themselves to the world.
