Arranging Rum!

On of the things I picked up in France was how to make Rhum arrangé, which is really very easy once you know of it.  It is basically just to take some cheap rum, and add anything you like of fruit, vegetables, herbs or spices, some sugar and then wait for the rum to take taste.
A couple of weeks ago I made three different ones out of one bottle of rum.
Pear & Vanilla,
Lemon & Ginger,
Raisin
Now I am exited to taste how they are progressing, if they need more of some ingredients or simply just need more time before they are ready to drink.
